I am currently in the Philippines after a sixteen year haitus. I have been able to see family I haven't seen in a very long time. I have seen cities such as Manilia, Batangas, Tay Tay, and my home town of Makati. The incredible smells and sights have been overwhelming and reminds me much of my early childhood. It has been very easy to reminisce about the places I remember as a young child. My family has been very supportive and have taken me to see many different places that will remind me of where I was born and where I was given a chance to have a wonderful and caring childhood. Above you will see my cousin Mayette, a view of the Manila Bay boardwalk and the finally the picture of our family home for fifty years. The house itself was built and designed by my grandfather (Edward Dimapilis).
